GamerLegion's CS2 division announced on Saturday that Polish player Janusz Pogozzyrski (ID: Snax) has officially returned. All indications suggest he will replace Eric Gustafsson (ID: ztr), who was previously relegated to the bench.
Snax, 31, served as the in-game leader for GamerLegion from September 2023 to July 2024. During this period, he played on 126 maps, participated in 2796 rounds, had an average rating of 0.98, and helped the team qualify for the PGL Copenhagen Major.
Besides GamerLegion, Snax has also played for several CS teams including GF-Gaming, Universal Soldiers, AGAiN, VP, MOUZ, Illuminar, Anonymo, MONKE, Let Us Cook, and Pompa. His accolades include the 2014 ESL Katowice Championship, the 2014 Gfinity G3 Championship, the 2015 ESEA Season 18 Global Championship, the 2015 CEVO Season 7 Championship, the 2015 CEVO Season 8 Championship, the 2016 SL i-League Invitational Championship, the 2016 ELEAGUE Season 1 Championship, the 2016 DreamHack Bucharest Open Championship, the 2017 DreamHack Las Vegas Masters Championship, and the 2018 ESL One New York Championship. After leaving GamerLegion, he joined G2 Esports, where he has played on 175 maps and participated in 3774 rounds to date, with an average personal rating of 0.88. He also won the BLAST Autumn Finals and World Finals championships with the team.
This official announcement comes at a time of turmoil for GamerLegion. Not long ago, their coach Ashley Batty (ID: ash) temporarily left the competition due to mental health issues, and there were also rumors that several core members of the team might collectively transfer to 100 Thieves.
Snax's primary task after joining GamerLegion is to help the team get back on track. The team has been struggling in recent months, with its VRS ranking dropping from the top ten to 25th in the world.
With Snax's arrival, GamerLegion's current roster is as follows:
Rifleman/Sniper: Frederick Sterner (ID: REZ)
Rifleman: Sebastian Tauson Lindelof (ID: Tauson)
Rifleman: Aldrich Nowey (ID: PR)
Sniper: Milan Polowitz (ID: hypex)
Conductor: Janusz Pogozhelski (ID: Snax)
Substitute: Jeremy Gast (ID: Kursy)
Substitute: Eric Gustafsson (ID: ztr)
