Ezri Konsa: The clean sheet reflects the team's defensive performance, but our ultimate goal is always to win the game.

Following Aston Villa's 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace, Ezri Konsa reflected on the positive aspects of the match. The two sides were evenly matched at Selhurst Park, ultimately settling for a draw. This was Unai Emery's Crystal Palace's first draw since September. Prior to the match, Aston Villa had won 18 of their last 21 games in all competitions.

After the match, Ezri Konsa said, "I think the first and second halves of this match were completely different. In the first half, we were in control, had excellent possession, and created several scoring opportunities. In the second half, the opponent increased the pressure and also created several threatening opportunities."

"Our performance here over the past few seasons has not been ideal, so keeping a clean sheet and getting a point in this match is a positive result for the team."

In the first half, Emiliano Martinez made a brilliant save, tipping Brennan Johnson's shot aside. Meanwhile, Ollie Watkins had two close calls. In the second half, Aston Villa's solid defense withstood numerous attacks from the home side, nearly securing three points. Near the end of the match, Ollie Watkins' header struck the far post and bounced out, almost sealing the victory for Aston Villa.

Ezri Konsa said: "This is a good opportunity for us to go out and play an away game. It's never easy to play in such difficult conditions. Although our opponents are not in good form recently, as I said, we haven't performed well here in the past few seasons."

"A clean sheet is positive for us, but the team's goal is always to win. We also created some chances in the final stages of the game, and although the result is regrettable, we will learn from the experience and continue to strive forward."
