Van Dijk: We will do our best to get three points and move forward

In the 15th round of the 2024/25 Premier League, Liverpool conceded a goal in the final stages of the game after McAllister and Salah scored, and were eventually tied 2-2 by Everton. Liverpool captain Van Dijk said they were all disappointed with the result of the game, but would continue to move forward and strive for 3 points.

In the 16th minute, Salah shook off the defense and passed the ball to the front of the goal, McAllister headed the ball into the goal, helping Liverpool tie the score 1-1.

In the 73rd minute of the second half, Nunez passed the ball, Jones's shot was blocked by the opponent, and Salah scored after receiving the ball, helping Liverpool to overtake 2-1. In the second half stoppage time, Irogbunan headed the ball back, and Tarkovsky volleyed and hit the goal, tying the score for Everton 2-2.

In the end, Liverpool was tied by Everton 2-2 in this Merseyside derby. After failing to get all 3 points, Liverpool currently ranks first in the standings with 57 points, 7 points ahead of second-placed Arsenal.

Liverpool captain Van Dijk said in an interview, "Of course we feel disappointed now, and we will feel the same tonight. But starting from tomorrow, we will focus on the game against Wolves, try to get all three points, and then move on."
