Our website's notorious female rumour monger "Ms. Plan To" was once again slammed by GOAL's resident renowned English Liverpool team correspondent Neil Jones, for hyping up fake news which claimed that Paris Saint-Germain has "locked their target" on signing Liverpool's France international defender Ibrahima Konaté during the summer transfer window again a-year-and-a-half later on Saturday.

Jones angrily hit out in his column that although he was not as active as before due to work arrangements during a period of time lately, he still continued to pay attention to all the updates on the Internet, and he found that the behaviour of a certain rumour monger from Asia (criticizing "Ms. Plan To" in an indirect way) has become more and more exaggerated, and it has even reached the point where there is almost not a day that she can get through without being "slapped in the face".

He criticized that the claims of plan of Paris Saint-Germain has "locked their target" on signing Konaté during the summer transfer window is a fake news which had already been circulating since the end of 2023, and he has refuted the rumours at the time.

Jones said he really don't understand why his friends James Pearce and Paul Gorst, who work at The Athletic and Liverpool ECHO respectively, had confirmed and reported months ago that Liverpool had begun contract extension negotiations with Konaté, and the player had publicly confirmed the matter, but "Ms. Plan To" still wanted to hype up the old news which claimed that Paris Saint-Germain "has regarded signing the France national team vice-captain as their primary target to strengthen its defense."

He also criticized that Konaté never said he was "interested" in moving to Les Parisiens. This rumour has been a false news that a certain inferior online media outlet's rumor monger (Graeme Bailey, the fake news expert of 90Min) has been lying about since two years ago.

In fact, we vaguely remembered that "Ms. Plan To" also published this exact similar article in November 2023, and the content is roughly the same as the article she published now, but the original article was suddenly deleted from the server at some point.

Similarly, we had also also reposted Pearce's and Gorst's exclusive report in November 2024 that the Reds is negotiating contract extension with Konaté, but the article too was suddenly deleted from the server at some point.

In addition, when "Ms. Plan To" fabricated this fake news a-year-and-a-half ago, she used the fact that the defending Ligue 1 champions wanted to fill the void left by legendary Brazil international defender Thiago Silva after he had moved to Chelsea to "rationalize" her lies which claimed that that Paris Saint-Germain wanted to sign Konaté.

A year later, she changed her reason to forming the strongest defensive partnership with Marquinhos and Milan Škriniar.
