Nottingham Forest thrashed Sunderland 5-0, extending their unbeaten run in all competitions to eight games. After the match, Vitor Pereira praised his players' outstanding performance. The team scored four goals in the first half, establishing a decisive advantage and ultimately securing three points. Chris Wood also scored, marking his first goal for Nottingham Forest since the opening of the Premier League.  

Morgan Gibbs-White scored his fifth goal in three games, while Igor Jesus netted in back-to-back Premier League matches for the first time since joining the team last summer. Elliott Anderson sealed the victory in the Northeast with a thrilling stoppage-time goal. Vitor Pereira was ecstatic with his team's performance after the final whistle.
