Guglielmo Vicario thinks the match against AZ Alkmaar will be a tough one and the team is ready for it

Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario expressed his thoughts at the press conference before the match against Alkmaar and said that the team is ready for the game.  

Guglielmo Vicario said: "We know what it means to play against AZ Alkmaar and we want to win. In the past six months, we have been under a certain amount of pressure every Sunday and Thursday, but I think this allows us to face each game in the best condition and mentality. In any case, we know it will be a fierce game and we are ready for it."  

"We will look at this as an important football match. In this competition, when we play two legs, the game is divided into two halves. Maybe we lost the first half in the Netherlands, but now we have a big chance to turn the situation around against AZ Alkmaar."  

"We know what difficulties we will face. They are a very good team and tomorrow's performance depends on us. In addition, I know that the fans will come to support us. They showed this at home. Guglielmo Vicario also talked about the responsibility of the senior players. He said: "We are responsible for the team every day. We all try to do our best and give advice to the young people. Everyone will focus on their own game and try to win."  

"We have a manager who explains to us every day in a very good way what is the right way to play football. I think the most important thing is behavior, which includes how you behave in the dressing room and on the pitch. We will definitely treat the club with hard work and professionalism and will play for the team with all our strength."  

"Also, I think injuries are part of football and we have to deal with it. In this team, no matter who plays, every player will play in the right way and with the right mentality. All the players will devote themselves wholeheartedly and try their best to play. We certainly don't want to lose any player to injury, but this is football and injuries are inevitable."  

"We rarely talk about injuries, but we don't make excuses for them. We've had a tough three months, but the coach doesn't complain about it at all. But every three days we play, sometimes we might lose something, points or games. It all depends on how we deal with setbacks, and I think we have dealt with them in the best way possible."
