Arsenal boss Arteta praises return of Bukayo Saka

In the 30th round of the 2024-25 Premier League, Arsenal faced Fulham at home. Bukayo Saka returned to the team and contributed 1 goal, helping Arsenal beat Fulham 2-1. Coach Mikel Arteta praised Saka's performance.

Saka had missed Arsenal's games for three months due to injury. This was his first return to the field. In the 66th minute of the second half, Saka came on as a substitute. In the 73rd minute, Saka received a pass from Briel Martinelli and scored with a header, extending the score to 2-0.

At the press conference after the game, Arteta was excited about Saka's performance and expressed his joy at Saka's return. Arteta said: "The fans welcomed him back in a wonderful way, showing him love, respect and admiration, and he totally deserves it all."

“His first reaction after scoring was to thank all the fitness guys, physios and staff who had helped him with his rehab. That shows his character and you can’t help but love him. I think he lit up not only the stadium but the whole team and it was great to have him back in the squad.”

"He has been training with the team for the past nine days and has shown excellent condition. We are very strict with his return and respect the recovery schedule because we know that once he plays, he must be ready. After all, this is the most critical moment of the season. I am really happy."
