After completing his contract extension procedures, Damsgaard, who was interviewed by Brentford's official website again, said: "I am very happy to complete the extension. I have had a great time here, so the extension is a matter of time for me and I am very happy."
"This season has been much better for me personally. I have more opportunities to play, but I have always enjoyed the atmosphere of the club, the time with my teammates and the way it is arranged."
"I am proud and happy to be here. I am very happy to see the support of the fans. This will make you give an extra 5%, and I am very grateful to the fans we have."
"With the increase of playing opportunities, it was a fairly easy decision to decide to renew the contract."
