Team Spirit's mid laner Lar is temporarily leaving the team, and Mirele has been called upon to lead the charge for the 2026 season.

Team Spirit, a Dota 2 powerhouse team that has won the The International twice, announced today that its core midlaner Larl will be taking a six-week break due to personal reasons.

This means Larl will miss three key events at the start of the 2026 season. During Larl's absence, Team Spirit has selected Mirele, a 20-year-old mid-laner from their sister team Yellow Submarine, as a substitute.

Mirele previously played for Spirit in the FISSURE Universe and won second place, demonstrating his initial ability to the system. However, unlike his previous short-term replacements, Mirele will face a long-term test this time, lasting nearly two months.
