Genoa officially announce the signing of Aalborg's young Denmark U21s international defender Sebastian Otoa..

Genoa announced on its official website on Thursday that the club has signed Aalborg's young Denmark U21s international defender Sebastian Otoa.

According to the Serie A club's official statement, Otoa has signed on a three-and-a-half-year contract with the club which runs until the summer of 2028, with  an option to extend for a further year. At the same time, he will also wear the No. 34 jersey.

About Sebastian Otoa

Sebastian Otoa, who is only 20 years old, was born in Roskilde, Denmark on May 13, 2004. He is 1.98 meters tall and plays as a central defender. He has dual Danish and Ivorian nationality. His younger brother Jonathan currently plays for Lyngby.

Otoa joined Copenhagen's youth academy at the age of 12, returned to his hometown club Roskilde's youth academy at the age of 15, joined Aalborg's youth academy in 2021, and completed his Aalborg first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in September of the following year.

During his two-and-a-half-year spell at Aalborg, Otoa played 44 times for the Danish Superliga club in all competitions, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists.
