League of Legends: Estral Esports (EST) top laner Summit provisionally suspended by Riot Games for alleged cheating during the LTA North Promotion..

Riot Games announced on its official website on Tuesday that Estral Esports (EST) top laner Summit will be provisionally suspended for alleged cheating during the LTA North Promotion Qualifiers.

According to Riot Games' official statement, authorities received a complaint alleging cheating by Summit during EST's match against Disguised (DSG).

The complaint report stated that Summit was caught watching highlights of the match's previous play behind his teammate Ghost during a five-hour disruption to the match due to a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack.

Such behaviour constitutes a serious violation of the Esports Global Code of Conduct 2025 Edition, page 12, section 4.3, which states that the use of any "in-game or out-of-game method, technique, or technology" to give a team or player an "unfair advantage."

Due to the severity of the allegations, Riot Games has suspended Summit for the remainder of the LTA North Promotion Qualifiers pending an investigation.

During Summit's suspension, Estral Esports (EST) allowed a temporary stand-in to play for their roster.

Furthermore, after the match was suspended for half a day due to a DDoS attack, Riot Games confirmed that it would resume today.

The score currently stands at 2-1 for Disguised (DSG) in this Best-of-5 match.

The winner will advance to the Upper Bracket Final to challenge Luminosity for a spot in the LCS 2026.
