Al Hilal confirms termination of contract with Brazil international Neymar

Saudi Professional League club Al Hilal announced that the club has negotiated the termination of the contract with Brazilian international Neymar.

The 32-year-old Neymar joined Al Hilal for a transfer fee of 90 million euros in August 2023 and signed a two-year contract. However, he has been plagued by injuries and has only played 7 times for Al Hilal so far.

Al Hilal released an announcement of the termination of the contract with Neymar, in which they thanked Neymar for his contribution and wrote: "The club thanks Neymar for his contribution during his time at Al Hilal and wishes him all the best in his future career."

Neymar came from the Santos youth training camp and started his professional career there. During his time at Santos, he played 225 games and scored 136 goals. After that, Neymar moved to Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.

However, in the World Cup qualifiers in July 2023, Neymar played for the Brazilian national team and suffered an injury in the match against Uruguay. After examination, Neymar was diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament, which caused him to be absent for a long time.
