Metizport official announcement: Swedish sniper nawwk will leave the team after his contract expires.

Metizport announced on Tuesday that Swedish sniper Tim Jonasson (ID: nawwk) will officially leave the team after his contract expires in December.

The 28-year-old nawwk previously played for several CS teams, including Refuse, Passions, PAPERPLANES, x6tence, GamerLegion, NIP, POGGERZ, Apeks, BLEED, Fnatic, and BC.Game, accumulating 1669 maps played and 42613 rounds participated in, with an average rating of 1.12. He officially joined Metizport at the end of October this year, aiming to support the team's plan to demote Lucas Hawkland (ID: L00m1) and build an international roster.

To date, nawwk has played 26 maps and participated in 585 rounds for Metizport, with an average rating of 1.01. His best achievements for Metizport include winning the runner-up title in the Swedish Cup and reaching the quarterfinals of the Red Bull GIBAWAY JOURNEY tournament.

However, Metizport is not satisfied with the current results. Along with announcing nawwk's departure, they also officially confirmed that the team is entering a rebuilding phase: "The 2025 Autumn Season was challenging, and our overall performance failed to meet our expectations; we were forced to make necessary adjustments, and encountered unexpected situations such as roster changes, causing our good results, achieved both online and offline, to be lost."

"Nevertheless, we will still do our best to return to the top, compete in high-level events, and become a participant in a Major event again in 2026."

“nawwk will continue to fulfill its contract with Metizport until the end of the year, but the search for a new sniper has already begun.”
