Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch withdraws from Netherlands squad due to injury

Premier League club Liverpool have issued a statement announcing that midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has left the Netherlands national team due to injury.

The 22-year-old was originally selected for the Netherlands national team along with teammates Cody Jacobo and Virgil van Dijk for the UEFA Nations League quarter-final against Spain, but Gravenberch had to withdraw from the national team due to health problems.

In fact, Gravenberch was injured in the FA Cup final when Liverpool lost 1-2 to Newcastle United, but he still insisted on playing for the Dutch national team. However, the Dutch national team decided not to let him play in order to avoid aggravating Gravenberch's injury.

The Netherlands national team released a statement on social media, writing: "Midfielder Ryan Gravenberch is still suffering from the injury he sustained on Sunday and will not be available for the match against Spain."

With the Netherlands' match against Spain approaching, Netherlands national team coach Ronald Koeman decided not to call up any players to replace Gravenberch.

Gravenberch returned to Liverpool for a medical examination and assessment. It is doubtful whether this injury will allow Gravenberch to catch up with Liverpool's next game. Liverpool's next game will be at home against Everton on April 2 in the 30th round of the Premier League.
