Former Liquid head coach mithR: Looking forward to a long-term project and being able to communicate at any time

Former Liquid head coach Thorbjorn Niboer (ID: mithR) released a statement on X on Thursday saying that he is looking to join a team.

"I have so much to offer, yet I'm still searching for a platform where I can use it," the statement read.

"My hunger for competition and championships is stronger than ever. I've been keeping busy over the past few months by helping out with the school and the team, but I'm still eager to find a long-term project I can dedicate myself to."

"Whether your team is in the construction stage, just starting out, or already has a foundation, my private messages are always open and you can communicate at any time."

MithR, 35, was born in Denmark and transitioned from a professional player to a coach in 2016. He has coached several CS teams including Tricked, North, Renegades, MOUZ, Apeks, and Liquid, and resigned as Liquid's head coach in March 2025.

In July of this year, mithR led Complexity as a temporary coach in the FISSURE Season 1 and IEM Cologne. After a short period of coaching Complexity, he returned to unemployment.
